Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the specialty of dentistry which deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disorders of the mouth and jaws.Orthodontics treats dental problems such as crooked teeth, misplacement of the teeth, crowded teeth or gaps between them. What’s more, it treats skeletal disorders, such as poor closure and the non-uniformity of the maxilla. Orthodontics aims both in the proper functioning of the mouth (e.g. proper mastication and speaking) as well as the aesthetics of the face.
